Student Rules & Regulations
To maintain discipline, good conduct, and a healthy academic atmosphere in the college. Every student of Allama Iqbal College is expected to follow these rules with sincerity and respect.
General Conduct
- Students must maintain discipline, politeness, and respect towards teachers, staff, and fellow students.
- Ragging or harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited and punishable under law.
- Students must carry their college identity card at all times within the campus.
- Cleanliness must be maintained in classrooms, laboratories, corridors, and the campus premises.
- Students should dress neatly and modestly, reflecting the dignity of the institution.
Attendance & Academics
- Every student must attend classes regularly and be punctual.
- A minimum of 75% attendance is required to be eligible for appearing in university examinations.
- Leave of absence must be applied for in advance and sanctioned by the concerned authority.

- Use of mobile phones is not allowed during lectures, practicals, or inside the library.

- Maintain silence and decorum during lectures, seminars, and cultural events.
- Students must not damage college property such as desks, walls, furniture, or laboratory equipment.
- Any act of violence, groupism, or misbehavior will invite strict disciplinary action.
- Posters or notices should not be displayed on walls or notice boards without prior permission.
- Vehicles must be parked only in the designated parking area.
Library & Laboratory Use
- Students must follow library and laboratory rules carefully.
- Books and instruments should be handled responsibly and returned on time.
- Silence must be maintained in the library and reading areas.
Examinations
- Students must appear in all internal and external examinations as per schedule.
- Unfair means in examinations will lead to strict punishment or expulsion.
- Admit cards or identity cards must be shown when required during examinations.
Disciplinary Action
- Violation of any rule will lead to warning, suspension, or expulsion depending on the seriousness of the misconduct.
- The Principal’s decision will be final in all disciplinary matters.
